Agua Azul and Tortuguero
The world is filled with the wonders of God. You don’t have to travel far in order to see them, but when you do travel to far away places, you discover wonders that you never thought you would see in your wildest imagination. When you see them it simply fills you with awe...
Sun-Baked and Drenched... But So Worth It!
After breakfast we loaded up and headed to our first destination: a small village up in the mountains. When we first arrived, we sang praise songs to attract the children. They were very hesitant at first. We started out with only a handful of kids, but the numbers soon swelled to around 50. They really got into the crafts, and laughed at the skit about truthfulness. At this particular village...
Coconuts and Balloons

Today was another full day of fun with the children and a lot of first-time experiences, like drinking coconut juice straight from the coconut...One thing I noticed was that the elderly people interacted with us a bit more. We were going to be sprinting to the finish tonight because we have our final evening at the family conference...
A Tale of Three Nights

The location was basically a park surrounded by stores and restaurants. We were told that a lot of people who hung out in this park spoke English. Grabbing a handful of tracts and a couple of team members we dispersed into our battle field!
Out-of-the-Ordinary School Work
It's Wednesday, July 1st and we have reached the mid-point of our trip. We are caught in between two seas of events. There are those events that have already come, and those that are to come. As I look back, I see...
On to Lima!
For most of us, Saturday started at midnight. We had only a few short hours to pack, hang out, and say goodbye to our beloved Pucallpa before leaving for Lima around five in the morning. We had a relatively uneventful day, during which time we pranced through the airport in funny hats, marched through Lima in funny hats, performed a silly skit in funny hats, slept (!), and...
