Have you ever looked in the face of someone with whom you desperately want to communicate, whether to share the Gospel or ask what is on their heart or just get to know them, but been frustrated by your inability to communicate in their language? This opportunity is all about moving from frustration to the thrill of hearing another language coming out of your mouth and seeing understanding in another person’s face. It’s about learning to express God’s truth and communicate from the heart in Spanish. If you are passionate about communicating in Spanish and see it as a necessary part of what God has in mind for your future, step into the adventurous world of immersion training!

This is a little different from our normal mission trips because it is planned one-on-one for those who have an interest in intense language learning. Through our work in Spanish-speaking cultures, we have found some Spanish teachers who we can highly recommend. We will connect you with a teacher, help set up housing, connect you with options for ministry (so you can put all those new-found Spanish skills to work right away!), book your flights, and make sure to send you off with important things like insurance. We can set this up for just one person or a couple of friends who want to go together. We can also offer this as a tag on at the beginning or end of one of our Ecuador team experiences.

Depending on your personal level of adventurousness, there are lots of fun things you can do to explore the culture and interact with people in Spanish.
