"Will this work?!"

As I looked around and saw many young teenaged kids waiting for us to start the photography program I thought to myself "Wow. This is not going to work. They aren't' gonna want to listen to us boring people talking about photography. They are just here because they have nothing else to do." All these things may have been true at the beginning. But as we started teaching photography they started to pay attention! And once we handed them the cameras there was an immediate connection between us. The pictures here are the kids on my team. They all shared one camera. Each one had a turn and each one took a different and unique photo. They absolutely loved it! We were all laughing, posing and just having the best time together! Sure my small knowledge of spanish held me back from having a real conversation with them but my bigger knowledge of photography allowed me to have a special connection with these awesome kids! We were only with them for that afternoon. I didn't want to leave them! They had become special to me in the short amount of time. But the Lord was doing great things. I know that His Word was preached and that those kids heard it. His Word does not return in vain. Praise the Lord for all He is done and all He continues to do! God Bless Y'all,Grace
