Hurricane Drew || Drew - July 8
Today was the beginning of the end for us. We started our last mini kid program. This week I was put on lesson team with Rachel. This is what I would call an explosive pairing. The leaders knew that there was a definite possibility of us killing each other. As potentially detrimental this was to our psyches, the potential for our group to the best and most fun lesson team yet was that much more definite. Indeed we worked together great. Today was no exception, our story today was about the two builders. The one who built in the rock and had a good foundation and the other that didn't. What was most memorable about this story was when "hurricane Drew" came and picked up the boy who built the house on the sand and carried him across the room. The look on that poor boy's face of pure shock at what happened was priceless. It was awesome.I was also able to tell the large group story today. Today's story was about three fighters (variation of David and Goliath) Brandon was the giant fighter and of course Amy was the tiny fighter who trusted God for the fight. Then God gave her water balloons and she won, even though she barely hit him, but to the kids she won. After the kids program, the team and the Goggins family had a worship session and Jacob Goggins shared a bit of his testimony and how he met Cami, his wife. It was a wonderful ending to an awesome day here in Clopotiva, Romania.Sincerely,Drew
