Familiar Faces

WE'RE IN ECUADOR!!

The first day was something else for sure. We got in at about midnight and got through customs without any problems... until we gathered our luggage only to discover that my bag was missing. That was a test of faith that I thought would never happen to me! Anyways, by the time everything was said and done and we were finally at Casa De Padre it was about 3 AM.

We got up the next morning and made our way to the church in Quito where we saw familiar dear faces and met new people as well. Ah, it was soo GOOD to see everyone again! It was almost like we had never left. These people shower so much love it is incredible. It challenges me to show others the love of Christ even more.

   After being re-introduced we went to Pastor Benjamin's house for lunch and the World Cup (which was amazing). Thanks to our wonderful leaders we then enjoyed a mandatory 1 1/2 hour nap that was absolutely glorious after our very late morning.

Devotions were incredibly eye-opening and convicting (as always) but exactly what was needed for our team.

  God is working already! We've been praying that God will help our unbelief in Him. Also, that He would strengthen us, renew and refresh us in body, soul and spirit. Without Him we can do nothing. Only through Him. Please pray for us! If God is for us then who can be against us?
