Ecuador Travels

With our bags packed and passports in hand we arrived safely at Miami International Airport. After all bags were checked in, there was one last thing keeping us back. Unfortunately, we had a bit of situation with Micah’s passport expiration date. After praying, waiting, and praying some more, we were told that Micah would not be able to fly with us to Ecuador until his passport had been renewed. (This was not going to be a walk in the park!) Although the team was bummed to leave Micah in Florida, we knew that God would work it all out for His glory. (And we did have an intense time with our #getMicahback movement.) Our prayer is that Micah would be able to join us in Quito later this week, Lord willing.

After a smooth flight into Quito and making it through customs, we retrieved all but one suitcase. Yep, that meant filling out missing baggage claims until wee hours of the night. Although we were all very tired, it was great to see the team unity begin to form. After much waiting, singing, sleeping, talking, and laughing, the bag was still missing. We are still praying and waiting for a call to inform us that the bag was found. We made it back to Casa de Padre around 3:00am for a short night of sleep before a big day tomorrow.

Please pray that Micah would be able to get his passport expedited so he will be with us soon! Also, pray for Ashley’s suitecase will be returned quickly. In Christ,Sarah
