God is Just and Merciful
What do punch balloons, rows of corn, limbo, four corners, and stone tablets have in common? A kids' lesson in Romania on God's justice and mercy! This morning with the kids went well. This was our lesson that leads up to the presentation of "Jesus is our Salvation" (pray for that one tomorrow). The kids have definitely warmed up to us and we all received lots of hugs today. I'm having a blast leading songs and teaching Bible verses to such a responsive group of children. This afternoon we had devotions in the part and prepped for the evening. Evening activities included taking part in the Wednesday night prayer service at church. We performed the drama of "A Brother's Love," Rob preached, we all sang in English, and I sang a solo in "Romenglish" (Romanian with very heavy American accent). Each evening different families from church have been having us over for dinner. We have LOVED getting to know them. Their hospitality has absolutely amazed us. Tonight was no different and we thoroughly enjoyed hearing stories about Christianity in Romania under communism. Working with the church here has been a huge blessing to us. They have been so kind to our team.- Elizabeth, for the Romania Mission Team
