Chan-Chan, CI, and M&M Protests
Tuesday: The past five days have felt like a lifetime, we all know each other so well and have grown to be a family. We went to sightsee today, to the Chan-Chan ruins which was very cool; after that, we all had a wonderful lunch at a restaurant called El Mochica, then we hadabout twenty minutes of prep time before we had to go to the church for our second night of the children's program. The kids are starting to warm up to us. After a long night that felt short, we got back to the hotel to have dinner. While at dinner Pastor Salazar and Andy started to confiscate any and all candy, and became candy dictators. Those of you who know Amanda, know she will not stand for this action against freedom, so Amanda started a coupand had a silent protest spelling freedom with M&Ms.

The kids love Nathaniel!
A view of the ruins. Apparently rain is really bad for these clay structures. They kind of look like they are slowly melting.
Pastor Antonio Rojas and family. They traveled with us to Trujillo to run the Basic Seminar. We loved having them along.
A sister moment at the ruins.
