The Global Encounters camp and VBS curriculum has grown out of years of experience working with children in a wide variety of settings - everything from a dozen kids in a clearing in the jungle to 500 kids in a shantytown. Sometimes we work with kids with a Christian background, but just as often we have kids with zero understanding about the Bible, salvation, or even what we mean by the concept of “God.”

The curriculum was designed to be super flexible to a variety of teaching settings, understandable to those with no foundational Christian knowledge, fun, exciting, and out of the ordinary. We believe kids have the ability to understand spiritual truth and respond to the gospel, but it helps if you teach it in a way that is memorable and fun.

Each curriculum series can stand alone and they all cover the gospel. However, we recommend doing them in order if you are working with kids with no Bible knowledge. For each series, you can purchase the entire set, which includes all the games, crafts, stories, and skits that a GE team will use in a week-long camp or VBS. You can also purchase individual books. We provide a Google spreadsheet of our list of sources for the supplies. We can’t guarantee all the links will be current, as products are sometimes cycled out since the last time we purchased for a specific curriculum, but at least it will give you a good start.

If you purchase a complete curriculum set, you will receive access to a video laying out the basic functions of the curriculum, how to use it, and how to adapt it to various teaching scenarios.
