"Overflowing With Life" || Haley - June 26-27

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Starting a new week of ministry is always exciting. I was a bit nervous about it, since the two villages we were planning on working in are new for our missionaries. Our first program was in a gypsy village, at their school (hurray for a building!), the children were attentive and were full of fun. The second program was in a nearby town, it was also well received. Tuesday morning we arrived at the gypsy village to find the children eagerly awaiting our return! The best way to describe them was that they were full to overflowing with life. One of their Mothers told us that they had all been up and waiting for us since 7:00, even though we don't start till at least 10:30. 🙂  It is so encouraging to see the kids making connections with us, whether it be with hugs, jokes, special handshakes or questions. A girl named Flavia start chattering away to me, with the translators help she started asking, " is it true that Jesus made the bears and horses and the sky and the earth, and that He loves us?"  The kids actually waited for us to pack up once we were done and walked with us all the way back through the village to our cars. Personal takeaways: coming to someone and being able to pour into them the love the Father has given is so rewarding.
