South Asia – April 5 || Alyssa
At 3:30am we finally arrived at our hotel and all fell into bed.When we awoke, the sun was shining and the air was cool- it was a perfect Easter Sunday Morning. (Or afternoon since we all woke up late) We then went to the school where we will be teaching for this next week and also where our translators are staying. It was really great to be able to spend such a special day with such special people.After a time of praise and worship, we decided to take the "quick" hike up to a pagoda on the top of a hill. (This ended up being an hour and a half trek uphill through a forest of trees.) The view was definitely worth the struggle it was to get up to it.At the end of the day, we all sat down and ate probably one of the {best} meals we have had so far. (The food here is. Amazing.)It's been so impacting to be able to have such an amazing and unified team. The South Asia side of our team have really stepped up and come along side of us and have become not only a huge part of our team, but they feel like they are our family. It has been such an encouragement to see how God is shaping and growing our team. I am truly blessed to be able to be on this trip with this team of 21.Alyssa
