"All you need is LOVE..."

This kid totally made my day yesterday. Adorable, yes. Heart-gripper, yes. Desperately in need of love, yes.His name is Sebastian. We think. He tells us Andres sometimes too.Micah made friends with him the very first day by giving him a cup of water. That's all he wanted. After that he ran and played happily with the other kids.In the afternoons, we work with a sister church of the larger church we work at in the morning, partnering with both of these churches in reaching the street kids near the sister church. Many of these kids do not have homes, and most of these kids do not have water or adequate food. A water truck comes through the area a couple times a week, but you never know if the truck will be clean. When it is unclean water, disease spreads through the whole area. Many of them walk several blocks to get to the Children's program.As you look into the eyes of these kids, you see so much need and pain. In fact, some of the older girls will not meet your eyes at all....These kids are challenging, stretching, and draining, but there is no where I would rather be. What a precious gift to share the love of Jesus with those who do not experience love, those who are in need of the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.Partner with us in Prayer: We are crying out to God as a Photography Team for healing and redemption for every broken story, every hurting heart; and that they would run to Jesus as their Savior, Redeemer, and the source of perfect LOVE.Ashlyn
