Saturday was truly amazing. Nathan took us rock climbing and rappelling at a nearby park. Mwhahaha... It was my first time rappelling, and I very much loved the epic feeling of falling straight down the clift. Incredible, really. Our God is awesome. But that word—awesome—embarrasingly undermines the hugeness and credibility of our Master and King. The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. His creation is breathtaking!Literally, for some of us.We had a couple of people on our team that decided that the normal rappelling experience had gotten a little too...normal. So, they went face down. Yeah...whew. I'm pretty sure we all got our hands and knees pretty scratched up from the rock climbing. But it was so much fun. That same day at the park, we celebrated the sixth birthday of one mostly-already-grown-up andvery special kid whose name is Cloe Terrell. One of the highlight of the gifts she received would be Rapunzel doll. Yep. I think she liked it. ; )Honestly, rest hasn't been on the top of our priority list. And as I type, there is someone sitting in the next chair that desperately needs to just hit the hay. There is also a hard-working someone up in the office (shhh! ...named Elizabeth) who refuses to get sleep. She's always sacrificing herself for others. She works hard. Studies long. Nurses the sick. Organizes. Plays hard. And doesn't miss a beat. She's been in some pain with her right shoulder lately too. Please continue to pray that God will uphold her and strengthen her.You can also be praying for our preparation for going into the jungle this Friday. Translation will be a huge thing. Pray for our travel, meal preparation, the go-getter mentality for those of us who don't speak as much Spanish yet...to name a few!Mandy, for the team
