Pure Water & Living Water [monday]

Hey Everyone!Jacob and Abby with water filtersI can’t believe this is the last week of the trip! These days are going faster and faster as the team is busy with kids’ programs and water filters. We made a record of water filter installation today in Cuctielpa and Nuevo Chuchu Cruz with 33 filters in 24 hours. That’s amazing! We have been splitting into 3 water filter groups and one kids’ program group. I was on filter duty with Stephen and Grace for all of today. It is so neat to be able to give people something useful and also share the Gospel with them. Tomorrow we are moving onto another village or two and doing other programs and installing more filters.img_1441-cuctielpa-nathan-computer-and-kidsThe kids here are very curious about us and what we are doing. They stare with their huge brown eyes and follow us around wherever we go. A few of the boys love practicing their English with us. They know a few basic phrases like “Hello”, “Where are you from?”, and “What is your name?” A couple of us sat around with them just telling them what random words are in English. It’s encouraging to see these young people eager to learn English.img_1442-cuctielpa-tired-teamPlease be praying for the team. A few of us have been sick with intestinal issues. Not too serious but no fun at all, especially when it’s 90 degrees or more each day and humid! We are definitely in the home stretch and it feels like we are sprinting. I don’t think any of us are ready to go home. It’s been an amazing three weeks and we will miss each other and Chiapas very much.I need to end for now. We are leaving for another village soon. Thanks for reading and for praying.
