"They Wouldn't Stop Hugging Us" || Careena - June 21-22

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We went back to the Gypsy village on Wednesday and Thursday mornings for crafts and games and stories. We told them the story of Adam and Eve and taught them why they needed Jesus to save them from their sins. They made crosses of nails to remind them of Jesus' sacrifice and played water games showing you can't make yourself clear from your sins. The kids were really wild and it was difficult to keep them engaged in the activities. But they're really open to love and anything you have for them. Pojoga in the evening was my favorite part of every day. I remembered a lot of the kids from last year's program and they felt so important to have been remembered. I showed them pictures of us from last year and they wouldn't stop hugging us. It was difficult to say good-bye, not knowing what their year holds for them until we can come back and see them again.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image="23047" img_size="large"][vc_single_image image="23044" img_size="large"][vc_single_image image="23048" img_size="large"][vc_single_image image="23045" img_size="large"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
