Just Keep Walking
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Current Status: Single and Living for JesusHey there you awesome person! How do I know you’re awesome? Well, because you were created by THE incredibly awesome God! (Grin inserted here.) So, I heard you are walking in single “shoes” right now - I’m in those “kicks” right now, too! It’s not a bad place to be, even if your feet may get tired of being in those “shoes” at times, just keep walking and running for Jesus ok?! “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” - Galatians 6:9 Heaven is cheering for you to live every stage of life to the fullest for the Kingdom and eternity!I have times where I’m pumped living life being single and then there are times when no one is looking, that tears fall down my face. But, in every moment, whether I’m pumped or tearful, God is faithful to remind me of His faithfulness and of my very important mission in this life - to live for Him!!!!Here are some keys that God has giving me to help me “unlock” joy in this journey!!![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_icon icon_fontawesome="fa fa-key" color="green" align="center"][vc_custom_heading text="Key #1" font_container="tag:h2|text_align:center" use_theme_fonts="yes"][vc_column_text]The ONLY one that can fully, deeply and wholly satisfy me in life is God! I mean, cupcakes satisfy my sweet tooth, and then milk satisfies my thirst after eating one of those cupcakes, but that is nothing and I mean nothing compared to the satisfaction that comes by walking in surrender to God’s plan and His heart! His goodness satisfies the cry of our soul and spirit. His purposes are the sweetest of savors and the deepest of thirst quenchers!!! Bring to Him every desire of your heart! He absolutely loves holding them and doing with them what is gloriously best for you in every stage of life![/vc_column_text][vc_icon icon_fontawesome="fa fa-key" color="green" align="center"][vc_custom_heading text="Key #2" font_container="tag:h2|text_align:center" use_theme_fonts="yes"][vc_column_text]Some people view singleness as being in a “holding pattern” or a “tortuous wait” of sorts, but it’s only that if you make it that!!!! When you choose a heavenly perspective over a fleshly one, you sense God’s heart, feel His passion and get charged for carrying out His will as He has designed that only you can do in your very specific way! When you feel like you’re in a holding pattern, think on the One Who holds your future with more value than you could ever give it! When you’re tempted to focus on the “tortuous” feeling in waiting times, remind yourself of the meaning of the word “wait”. In Hebrew, “wait” is “qavah” and it’s definition is incredible! It means “to bind together”, “to intertwine” and “to expect”! When we truly wait on God, we are actively serving and worshipping Him, and in turn we are being bound with all of Who He is! With God you can expect nothing but His best! There’s no down-side to that friend! (Make sure to trust His divine knowledge of what “best” is though!)[/vc_column_text][vc_icon icon_fontawesome="fa fa-key" color="green" align="center"][vc_custom_heading text="Key #3" font_container="tag:h2|text_align:center" use_theme_fonts="yes"][vc_column_text]When I feel kinda stuck - like I’m in a discouraging wilderness - I look up and fix my eyes on God who loves me. In my spirit, I sense His strong hand gently take mine and hear Him say, “I love you. Trust Me. I am the Lord and there is nothing too hard for Me!” Suddenly I’m not “stuck” and sinking in the quicksand of discouragement anymore. Instead, my feet have solid footing and I have purpose to live this stage of life to the fullest of what God has appointed me to! He’s called me to impact the lives around me as only I can! God wants to use me to bring glory to Him! He has given me this very moment and I’m purposing to live it so beautifully that I would be glad to think back on it because I redeemed it for His glory![/vc_column_text][vc_icon icon_fontawesome="fa fa-key" color="green" align="center"][vc_custom_heading text="Key #4" font_container="tag:h2|text_align:center" use_theme_fonts="yes"][vc_column_text]Remember that when you put Christ first, you will know what true fulfillment is! You will experience what it’s like to be holy satisfied! When you are active about your heavenly Father’s work, you will get close to His heart! When you get close to His heart, you will see His passion for every one of your desires. Then, when you see His passion for every one your desires, you will know that He knows truly best how to use them and/or fulfill them![/vc_column_text][vc_icon icon_fontawesome="fa fa-key" color="green" align="center"][vc_custom_heading text="Key #5" font_container="tag:h2|text_align:center" use_theme_fonts="yes"][vc_column_text]Every day is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, in every stage of life! Our everyday decisions little and big, each strike a chord that vibrates into our eternal life with God! Lay up treasures in heaven friends! Matthew 6:19-21 “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Treasure Jesus friends. Walk satisfied. Run the way of His commands! Stay, with joy, when He directs you to and go where He wants you to go with enthusiasm! Live up your current status for eternity!
