Goodbyes || Jane - June 24

Today was our last day working with Marios and Veronika. We had one final program with the gypsy kids this morning. It was pretty sad to think that we may never see them again and who knows what their lives may hold. Those kids will hold a special place in my heart and prayers in the coming weeks.It has been a good week here working with some awesome people and it was sad to have to say goodbye! Our hosts and the translators are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and their heart for reaching the Romanian kids was so inspiring. I pray that they are able to continue their work with those kids.After lunch, we set out on our adventures for the weekend. We are traveling in a 14-passenger bus with no air-conditioning in this 100° weather so its kinda hot, but a ton of fun at the same time! We wandered around a town for a couple hours this afternoon, enjoyed the sights and had ice cream, (can’t miss the ice cream!). Then we had supper before going to our destination for the night.So that about sums up our day and I’d say it was a pretty good day!
