A Fantastic Weekend || Clara - June 18 & 19

Wow this weekend has been fantastic! This is my first time out of the country but I have amazing team members, translators, and host family!Saturday was our first day to do some awesome sightseeing in Salzburg, the city of Mozart and the filming area for “The Sound of Music”. The day consisted of lots of walking, many opportunities for great conversations, new found friendships, and amazing sights! I don’t believe I have smiled and laughed so much in a very long time!Sunday morning, we went to Marius’ (our host) Romanian church which was wonderful with beautiful music and worship!  Andrea translated the full 3 hours of songs and sermons, she was simply fantastic! Thank you Andrea!After an amazing morning we headed of to Deva, Romania. A full 10-hour drive. It was a great time for getting to know each other better (which you can’t get out of on a long car trip!), questions, games, and needed sleep!We got to Romania safely, praise God, at 12:30am with a time change that put us an hour ahead.  We headed right to bed anticipating a new day in the country side of Romania!So ta-ta for now, I’m off to explore a valley of Romania!
