Having Fun is Important Too! || Seng - April 07

Since we told the kids that we were going to have fun today, they all seemed super excited and were ready for the game as soon as they finished their lunch. Even though Tim reminded us to bring spare clothes to change afterwards, I just brought my top because I planned not to join the water game. However, I changed my mind as I was watching the kids and other team members playing the water games because it looked soooo fun!After playing the water games, most of our team was soaked but we didn't have any extra clothes to get changed. At that moment, some girls at Living Waters kindly lent their Longyis (traditional skirts) to us and all the girls from the GE team ended up wearing Longyis, which made the kids smile. One of the kids even said to me that today was the happiest day in his life because he had so much fun playing water games with the team.I used to think that “I have to do BIG things to serve God,” but it’s not true. Throughout today, God has showed me even small participation could bring joy to somebody. It doesn’t need to be too BIG to serve God who is able to make the small things BIG! So I’d like to say thank you to those who came up with the idea of water games and I’m so thankful for today!
