Building Relationships || Amanda - June 30

Introductions with the kids are long gone and we're settling into building relationships.The best part of the day was playing volleyball with the kids. It was really a game of “track the ball down” but it was fun. At one point, one of the girls and I were chasing after the ball. She grabbed my hand as we ran to the bottom of the hill. I can attest that she really reached in and grabbed my heart. It amazes me how much you can communicate without words. I only know the very basics of Romanian and yet these kids and I have fun, make jokes, and can carry on full conversations.- Amanda
