Chiapas – August 6 || John

Today started at 1:50am. Ian woke me up saying that the gate was open and he thought something was inside the church compound where we were staying. So grabbing my necessary things I headed out with Ian to find what this mystery might be... Only to find nothing!!! We were perfectly safe and all was quiet. False alarm!Today we did a kids programs at the church where we are staying. I think the local kids' parents might have had more fun then the kids.After walking down a road for a long time with my water filter team, we turned to the local guy we were going to install the filter for and asked how much further it as and if we needed to take the Yukon instead. He said, "oh it's right down the road..." Now let put this in English... either were almost there or it's really, really far away, so we decided to keep going... Finally after going over hills and almost everywhere, we arrived and did the install.~ John
