Ecuador - July 30 || Gabriella

 Today was the continuation of el mundial (the world cup) at camp. Everyone was super pumped and exited. All five chants were said various times and much screaming was done as well. Many people, including myself, are starting to lose their voices. All the children played so well and are amazing to watch but unfortunately, one team was eliminated today, equipo azul (blue team). Equipo azul lost when they played against green team. When equipo azul lost, they sat on the benches to not just watch the other teams play but to also cheer and support them. It was awesome and encouraging to watch them cheer on with a cheerful attitude even when they had lost. The kids here are truly enjoying camp and the world cup and so are we! Although it’s a blessing to be here and teach the kids about God, tiredness is finally starting to hit me. There are times throughout the day where I feel tired, but the Lord has been teaching me these days that He is my rock, my fortress and my stronghold, from Him and Him alone do I get my strength. As we are in our last days please pray that we would finish the week strong and that these kids would continue to know more about Jesus Christ and how He wants them to live for Him. ~Gabi
