Today was a day of rest for the team! Although, we didn’t get much rest as in sleep, it has been a great day of relaxing. We left to Atacamas in the morning for a beach day with the team. Some of the team headed out for whale watching while the rest of us played soccer on the beach. We played some intense volleyball, went swimming, bought some great souvenirs, ate a yummy lunch near the beach, and we even found our favorite batido (smoothie) place (they make the BEST coco batidos)! We finished our beach time playing Ecuavolley with some of the locals there. Let me tell you, Ecuavolley is much harder than it appears! It was SO much fun though. Our team got invited to join the church’s young adults group for a service together. They surprised us with entertainment of Tierra Negra. They danced and sang so beautifully! It looked like a blast- I wanted to join them. :P Daniel had asked Tommy and I to share our testimony to the group. Speaking is not my forte, but the Lord really used it to humble myself before Him. It was a blessed evening with delicious food following.Looking back on this week, we are all encouraged to see God’s hand at work. We have had many challenges and everything has not gone perfectly, but it is evident God is working. He has taught me so much as I have taught these kids. So much about HIS love and HIS forgiveness. Every time I get up to teach, I feel like I am preaching to myself. It is obvious the Lord is working in the hearts of the kids as well as our team members. Please continue to pray for the team as we head to Camp Same tomorrow!~Sarah20140726_RLS_0756820140726_RLS_07569 20140726_RLS_07570 20140726_RLS_07571 20140726_RLS_07572 20140726_RLS_07573 20140726_RLS_07576 20140726_RLS_07577 20140726_RLS_0757820140726_RLS_07579
