Barriers and Road Trips || Day 6 - Lydia

We concluded our first week of classes, it has been a blessing to have such a wonderful teacher that is giving so much of her time to us. The majority of our time has been dedicated Spanish whether it be classes, studying, or using it. When focusing so hard on Spanish it can be quite difficult to write or talk in English, making for some good laughs as well as frustration. Learning a new language can be quite the challenge.

One of the things that has struck me is that fact that God is not bound by language barriers and He works through us even though we are constrained by language barriers. It is amazing how much you can communicate with very limited Spanish, but I look forward to being able to communicate God's love more effectively to the people that call this language their own.

Today, Friday, we are headed to an orphanage for the weekend. Please keep us in your prayers as we use our limited Spanish and encourage them from God's Word.
