T-Shirt Contest

.Last year's t-shirt design contest produced the favorite team shirts and hoodies so far! We're excited to see what you come up with for 2013. Here are some ideas for themes:- The promises of God. This is the focus of the 2013 children's curriculum, starting with the promise of salvation to all who repent and receive Christ as their Savior.- The t-shirts will be worn by all GE teams, so we're looking for designs that are relevant to GE and missions as a whole, rather than just for one country.- The passport stamp look. GE has a new logo! By this summer our website and everything else GE-related will complement the new look. Here's a sneak preview of what's coming:So what happens if you win?

The Prizes:

Grand Prize: $300 scholarship for a GE trip of your choice plus a shirt with your winning designSecond Prize: $200 scholarship for a GE tripThird Prize: $100 scholarship for a GE tripAll Eligible Entries: $25 scholarship for a GE trip

The Details:

- Submission deadline: Friday, February 15, 2013.- Send designs to contest@globalencounter.net.- The top entries will be placed on Facebook for general input. Yes, this means you can email all your friends and encourage them to vote for your idea! Voting will take place February 19-21 on the GE Facebook page.- Winners will be announced February 22nd, 2013.- Multiple entries from the same person are welcome!- Feel free to incorporate whatever graphics express your ideas (but do not use anything that has been copyrighted by someone else)- Designs must fit within 13” wide x 18” tall (you do not have to fill the entire space). Also, keep in mind that you need to allow a 1” clearance from any seams (collar, side seams, hem). Unfortunately, this means that designs cannot go over the shoulder. However, they do not need to be centered on the shirt. You are welcome to design something asymmetrical.- You may use 1 or 2 colors in your design, just keep in mind that gradients do not print well when silkscreened onto a t-shirt.- Designs may be created digitally or by hand.......For the digitally inclined:.          - We prefer vector but will accept raster..          - File types may be AI, EPS, PDF, PSD, TIFF, or JPG. All files must be compatible with Adobe CS 6 or less..          - For raster designs the file needs to be 3900 x 4500 pixels at 300 dpi.......For the by-hand type:.          - Acceptable mediums include paint, colored pencil, crayon, or just about anything else you want to use. Yep, we're flexible!.          - We need to receive the file from you in a digital format. To achieve this you can take a picture of your design or scan it and send it to us as a PDF or JPG.If you have questions about the design details, contact Mindy Holt at mindy@globalencounter.net. General contest questions go to contest@globalencounter.net.
