Invite your friends to...

JOIN THE TEAM!

You went on the mission trip. God used you to impact kids for eternity. He worked in your life. It was awesome! Want to do it again? Even better yet, want to bring your friends along to join you in spreading the Gospel? We want to make it easy for you to do just that! Here's how it works... you have a special "Join the Team" code (sent by mail and email). When you tell a friend about Global Encounters and get them excited about going on a trip, give them your code. If they use the code when they sign up, they get a $25 discount off their mission trip. Once they are approved and confirmed for a mission trip, you get a $50 discount off your next mission trip!

Questions? Here are some answers!

Q: How do my friends use the discount code when they apply? A: For now, they can enter it in the final comments section at the end of the application. As soon as the website overhaul is done (Coming soon! It's going to be cool!), there will be a specific section to enter promo codes.Q: I forgot my code! Now what? A: Don't panic! Send us an email and we will reply with your code. A quick tip to remember your code: most of them are two letters for the country or team (SA=South Africa, EC=Ecuador, etc.), your first and last initials, and the last year in which you traveled (either 10 or 11). However, if two people with the same initials went to the same country in the same year (i.e. Amy Cook and Abby Case both went to Chiapas), then your code is a bit different, so if you're not sure, just ask.Q: Can I earn more than one $50 discount? A: Yes! In fact, Global Encounters will even add a bonus. If you recruit four people we will add an extra $50 to your discount. So, one friend = $50, two friends = $100, 3 friends = $150, 4 friends = $250.Q: Does this apply to siblings? Cousins? A: Siblings, yes. Cousins, yes. As long as they haven't already been on a GE mission trip, you (and they) can get the discount!Q: Does the code work if my friend has already been on a Global Encounters trip? A: No, you can't invite all your team mates from last year to rack up discounts! The discounts only apply if your friend is new to Global Encounters.Q: How will I keep track of my discounts? A: You don't have to. GE will do that for you by the codes submitted. Your friends do have to use the code when they apply! However, since they get their $25 discount by using the code, they will probably remember. Someone from GE will email you and let you know when a friend's application has been accepted. GE has the final say on all discounts.Q: What if my friend has already applied, applied last year, etc.? A: I'm sorry, but we can't backdate this promo.Q: What if I'm not able to go on a trip in 2012? A: Your discount will be good for 2012 and 2013 mission trips with Global Encounters. Any unused discounts expire at the end of 2013.Q: Can I give my discount to someone else? A: No. It is non-transferable.Q: What if my friend applies but then doesn't actually go on a trip? A: Sorry, but no discount will be awarded unless your friend actually goes on a trip. Exception: if they are planning to go on a trip, purchase their airline ticket, and then have to back out because of a reasonable last minute emergency (in the hospital, death in the family, etc.), the discount will still be awarded.
