Quito Kids' Program, Day One
Greetings from Ecuador! We are all alive and well, serving God's people in this beautiful country. In just this first day we have had countless adventures and memorable experiences. The first day we had around one hundred and fifty kids who showed up for fun and games and teaching. It is such a blessing for them to have us here and investing in their lives and we can see it on their faces everyday. However, I believe that the blessing they give us is far more than anything we can give them. It is such a blessing for us to show up at the church in the morning and to see all of these smiling faces waiting for us with breathless anticipation on their faces. We are teaching them about God's character through crafts and games, and it is evident that they understand the concepts by their body language and facial expressions. This trip has been an incredible experience so far and I cannot wait to see what God will do in the weeks to come. Please pray for protection from things seen and unseen. We have encountered so much spiritual warfare in these first couple of days but with lots of prayer and encouragement from each other we have grown in these experiences and will continue to do so. Thank you for the prayers thus far and we will continue to keep you updated as time continues.Blessings,Daniel Dickson
