[Saturday 6-11] Back in San Cristobal

Destination: San Cristobal de las CasasToday being the first day back from the jungle, the team tried to catch up on sleep and had a more relaxed morning. We took things slower and just recuperated from the three days spent "roughing it". We unpacked all the stuff from the cars and backpacks, got all our dirty clothes washed and dried, and aired out all the hammocks, towels, and blankets to help erase the smell of the jungle. It was a much needed day of relaxation and rest.After everything had been cleaned up, those of us who still had some energy left over went out to the market in town and did a little sight-seeing and some "window shopping". Others used the time to catch up a little more on sleep or just relax back at the Terrells'. After getting back from the market, the whole team had dinner with Nathan and Julie, then proceeded to gather in the living room for a short devotion and some singing. Everyone is in high spirits and thankfully no one has gotten sick! Please keep us in your prayers that we would all continue to stay hydrated, well rested, and healthy! God has been very gracious to us and we hope He continues to bless our efforts."The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.
